Roadtrip since 2014! These two friends have been road tripping through the Pacific Coast of North America travelling and documenting their lives on the road and turning it into a movie called Berg and Ocean. Converting a 15 passenger van and into their very own rolling home was a perfect travel solution for these two adventurers who love to ski and surf. Waking up to new scenery and the uninhibited freedom to enjoy the various landscapes and water temperatures is a dream that these two have made a reality. By documenting their trip on social media, they hope to inspire others to make their dreams a reality.

Inspirations: We’re currently living on the road and every day we are able to find so much inspiration. The number of people we meet while travelling and of course, the places we visit are our natural sources of inspiration to keep doing what we’re doing.
How did you get into surfing?
Finding inspiration through our friends, these we took to the sport and caught our first waves in Europe visiting surf camps in France and Portugal.
Can you give us an idea of what your typical meals in a day would be?
Given that we’re living on the road, most of our meals are all about preparing easy meals in our camper kitchen. We tend to eat a lot of noodles, and from time to time we end up making some burritos with fresh veggies.
Do you do any stretches or exercises pre-surf or post-surf?
Depending on how we feel, we may go for a quick stretch before we get into the water.
What do you grab for a post-surf snack?
Nothing like a bowl of cereal and fresh fruit. Oh yeah, you can’t forget the coffee 🙂
What’s your favourite gear?
The beauty of surfing is that all you need is your surfboard, board shorts and maybe a wetsuit. Whether it was surfing in Cali in board shorts or our 5mm wetsuits with booties, gloves, and hoods for Tofino’s cold waters – we had a blast. Honestly, our fave gear is definitely our short boards (6’3″ and 6’6″)
