How did you get into surfing?

Needing a break from fashion, the city and the rat race, I spent a summer in Tofino, British Columbia. After that summer, I left for a trip that was only supposed to be for one month which ended up being a few years of travelling and surfing.

Since then, everything got complicated..lol but in an incredibly beautiful and amazing way!

Can you give us an idea of what your typical meals in a day would be?

We have a little guy that I prioritize over us, and he’s not always easy to accommodate. Lucky for us, he likes tofu 🙂 However, what we cook at home is always made from scratch. Whether it’s our smoothies, bread, cereal, sushi, pesto, etc.

Ceviche with avocado is my fave meal, and I can eat it every single day! 😀

Do you do any stretches or exercises pre- or post-surf?

I really should be practicing yoga, stretches and meditation. Overall, I’m an active individual and to be honest, I don’t quite understand those who don’t like to do any kind of activity. When I’m in the city, I go swimming, do a lot of cardio and I love to bike (a lot).

What do you grab for a post-surf snack?

I like to keep it light and end up snacking on a granola bar, banana, smoothie or coffee

What’s your favourite gear?

I really love the Akela Surf Kahanu Top in Skin Fabric. It’s pretty incredible, I was so surprised how soft and comfortable it was. Bonus? SPF50 protection to protect your skin and it is a total must have!
